Trying to Navigate the Middle of the Road
Living in Massachusetts I am surrounded by history. A lot of it is well known, and some of it not so well known. Everyone knows about the Boston Tea Party, Bunker Hill, Lexington and Concord, and the 2004 Red Sox beating the Yankees after being down 3 games to 0. But not many people know about King Philip’s War. This was back in the late 1600’s.
One result of the mild winter we have been experiencing is I have had more time to spend outside walking through the woods, searching for the skeletons that may be out there. One of our local skeletons is what is called the Grand Trunk Railroad, There are bones everywhere.
I got to spend some time behind the dirty windshield this week. It’s been a while since I’ve had the chance. I did a six hour round trip to Maine.
